Welcome to Little Monk... 

 

This is a website and blog about living as a little monk (or nun) in ordinary life.

​

A little monk isn't a traditional monk. There are no robes, doctrines, vows of poverty, or institutions to join.

​

Instead, there is a simple little way: walking gently through life, paying attention, finding wonder in small things such as clouds drifting overhead or a bird hopping onto a fence, and leaving a place slightly better than when you found it.

​

There is also a monastery. A virtual one. A quiet place for a cup of tea and a chat.

​

A little way for a big life.

​

If you value a little more kindness, a little less tension, and a simpler way of living in the midst of parenting, work, and household chores, you might just be a little monk or nun.
